IPL Skin Rejuvenation
As we get older we get an overall decline in the texture our skin due to the combined effects of sun exposure, acne, wrinkles and traumatic scars. This can have a profound effect on our self confidence.

Following a consultation with one of our experts, by setting out a tailor made skin therapy programme using IPL laser rejuvenation and usually in combination with other therapies (microdermabrasion, anti-wrinkle injections, thread vein removal, Pelleve and cosmeceuticals) we are able to achieve wonderful outcomes and hopefully meet or even surpass your expectations.

Laser rejuvenation helps improve skin texture and tone by stimulating collagen production which causes reduction in skin pore size thus improving superficial scars and wrinkles. Increased collagen production like air in a balloon, expands to push out the scars, pores and wrinkles leaving your skin feeling youthful.

Procedure
First the area to be treated with the laser is cooled using a cold pack and then a cool gel is applied which helps the conduction of the energy from the laser into the skin. When the IPL system/laser is fired you will feel a sensation rather like a sharp ‘flick’ which is over in a second or two. The area is then cooled again and the practitioner then moves to the next area to be treated.

Depending on your skin therapy programme, it is likely more than one treatment session is needed to achieve best results and this will be discussed with you during your consultation.

At LasaDerm we use Genuine Dermaroller™  treatments in combination with Microdermabrasion and Intense Pulse Light (laser therapy) to produce the desired effect. We recommend 3-6 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart for optimum effect.

Genuine Dermaroller can increase the amount of elastic tissue in the skin by up to 200% per treatment.  It is a non aggressive, minimally invasive treatment with about 24 hours of downtime and results that continue to improve for months after the treatment.

Your treatment includes your Genuine Dermaroller™ treatment plus a cream (to soothe and calm the skin) and a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with SPF 50 to be used immediately after the treatment and in the days that follow (we advise that you use sunscreen daily all year round).
